Laser Hair Reduction
What Is Laser Hair Reduction?
Laser hair reduction is an umbrella term used to describe several hair removal treatments that use light energy as the primary means of hair reduction. During a laser hair reduction session intense light energy is directed at specific hair follicles on the surface of the dermis. The follicles absorb this energy and break down, preventing future hair growth. Laser hair removal has been proven safe and effective and is officially cleared by the FDA for medical use.
Laser hair reduction eliminates the long-term need for shaving and waxing, streamlining your morning routine. It can even help those who suffer from ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and folliculitis. Hair reduction treatments at The Vein Center and MedSpa feature virtually no downtime, and clients can expect to return to their lives immediately. Some clients may experience slight redness immediately after their session, which should clear up in a few hours.

Our MedSpa uses a laser hair removal process called Forever Bare BBL. Unlike other laser hair reduction treatments, Forever Bare BBL uses a thermoelectrically cooled sapphire plate to continuously soothe the skin, further reducing operative discomfort and downtime. Compared to other laser hair reduction treatments, Forever Bare BBL is significantly faster, safer, and more comfortable.
The total number of treatments clients undertake depends on the location and density of the hair. Most areas require four to eight laser treatment sessions at four-to-six-week intervals, with larger or thicker areas requiring more sessions.
