Vein Treatments at The Vein Center

Treatments for vein symptoms at The Vein Center include compression therapy, sclerotherapy, cosmetic sclerotherapy, RFA treatments, laser vein, and more.

Compression Therapy

Compression therapy involves using specially designed stockings to apply pressure to the legs. The Vein Center uses “graduated compression stockings” to distribute pressure across the leg, promoting regular blood flow and alleviating mild vein symptoms.

Compression therapy is a core part of a conservative management program, which many insurance companies require before they’ll cover more intensive vein treatments.

VenaCure Endovenous Laser Vein Treatment

VenaCure laser treatments involve inserting tiny, fibrous lasers into problematic veins under local anesthetic. Once inserted, the lasers deliver a small dose of harmless light energy to collapse and seal the vein, which then diverts its blood flow to nearby functional veins. The process is safe, quick, and involves little to no discomfort.

Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

RFA vein treatments use a small needle to insert a radiofrequency catheter into the problematic vein. This includes Small Saphenous, Anterior Accessory Saphenous, Posterior Accessory Saphenous, and Great Saphenous veins. Once in place, the catheter delivers small doses of energy to the great vein wall, causing it to collapse and seal. The procedure is a safe and effective way to manage vein symptoms without surgery.

VenaSeal Closure System

The Vein Center and MedSpa is the only vein clinic to offer the VenaSeal closure system, a revolutionary new way to treat vein symptoms. During a VenaSeal procedure, one of our vein specialists injects an FDA-approved adhesive to seal veins and redirect blood to nearby healthy veins.

Cosmetic Sclerotherapy

The Vein Center conducts both medical and cosmetic sclerotherapy. Cosmetic Sclerotherapy is performed with Asclera, which is a less potent medication and won’t damage the surrounding tissue. Medical Sclerotherapy is performed with Soctradecol Sulfate and can treat larger varicose veins.

Ambulatory Phlebectomy

A more intensive vein treatment, an ambulatory phlebectomy involves creating tiny incisions in the skin to manually remove veins under local anesthetic. The incisions made during an ambulatory phlebectomy are completely safe and usually do not require sutures.

ClariVein

The ClariVein IC system uses an ultra-thin catheter with a rotating dispersion tip to deliver physician-approved agents to veins and shrink them. The catheter is inserted into the vein via a small injection—about the size of a pinhead.

Cutaneous Laser Vein Treatment

Cutaneous laser vein treatment heats veins from the outside, causing light damage underneath the skin. Affected veins eventually collapse and seal, diverting blood flow to nearby veins.
